About This Game

- DiS and Vigil are two friends who visit the haunted residence the newspapers have been covering recently. Unbeknownst to them, however, the place is not as abandoned as the press makes out...
- Be drawn into exploring the mysterious past of the psychotic murderer who once called the place home?
Visit the original crime scene with Police girl Sui, solve and see how she is involved with the story! Has she been hiding something, are DiS, Sui and Vigil connected somehow?

* DK2 Oculus rift tested and working for mac/windows. With pre-0.6.0 SDK (Consumer version does not work).
** Currently Chapter 4 is not playable with Oculus VR, occasionally some multiplayer chapters may be unavailable.

Is this supposed to be scary?. The voices are grating, the story is literally less than a half hour long, the graphics look like something out of the "Slender" era of indie games, the jump scares are cheap and get laughable eventually. However on the other hand the charecter design is pleasant enough and what little story they manage to sneak in is at least interesting.

If the story were expanded further however it would be pretty worthwhile, but as it is it's like looking at a deviantart page personified. I expect good (or at least better) things in the future. Failing that I can at least take comfort that my money went towards supporting the author to improve.. Very short, consisting of a few jump scares and some text.
All three chapters could be completed within 20 minutes and there is no story value.
After completing all three chapters I went back through chapter one multiple times trying to get an apparently broken achievement which has now been removed.
I do not recommend this game.. I dont know why people are complaining about it... It costs 99 cents. This game is worth it.. I think it took longer to uninstall than it did to beat.. It's like devianart's and unity's love child.. This game is A.B.S.O.L.U.T.L.E.Y terrifying!!! There is NO way anyone can finish this game cus it's so scary. If you tell me you beat it I WILL NOT BELIEVE YOU. The ONLY reason this game has ANY bad reviews is because people are trying not to put the HORROR on their friends and loved ones. THIS GAME IS CURSED. Do NOT play it, but please support the developers and buy it anyway. If you do play this game, send the game to 9 of your friends. Do NOT put your name in the gift message - the curse will be transferred to them instead of you. This is the ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE after you PLAY THIS TERRIFYING GAME. Do not be fooled by the screenshots or the tacked on multiplayer element. This is NO GAME. This is YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE. I do not understand why it is so cheap - unless the developers are trying to rid themselves of all their copies of the game because it's SO EVIL. SAVE THEM. BUY A COPY.. I don't really understand the negativity regarding this game. To me, it's simple but enjoyable enough. You get a lot (an upcoming multiplayer option, trading cards, etc.) considering the low price. And although the game is terribly short, it produced a few good jumpscares and includes a decent little twist at the end. The anime-style art and the backgrounds weren't exactly refined, but they were effective. I also appreciated the effort put into including voiceovers, which was a nice touch. I just wish the voice actors were a little more expressive because it would help add to the overall experience. My biggest complaint, really, is the length of the game itself. It would be great if they could include more chapters in the future, or perhaps even implement some kind of mod capability via the workshop to expand the story and game a bit more. Basically, you are getting what you pay for, and I was not disappointed.
